Your involvement
It is important that you have the opportunity to participate in decisions concerning the care you receive. This increases the chances for us to help you to achieve a better quality of life.
The objective is that both you (the patient) and those close to you shall be involved in and be able to influence the care you receive. There are several different forums for this.
Several of our healthcare facilities have a council for patients and close relatives (Patient- och närståenderåd). There are also many other stakeholder organisations that can help you to find out about your rights or that can provide you with other forms of support. Ask your local healthcare provider to explain which options are available to you.
Your opinion is important
A selection of patients within Stockholm County are chosen at random to participate in a patient survey. We would appreciate it if you could help us to provide even better healthcare by completing the questionnaire. If the timing of the questionnaire does not feel appropriate for you, you can always talk to your healthcare centre and ask to be exempted from receiving the patient survey.
Naturally, you do not have to wait until you are sent the questionnaire – you are always welcome to share your thoughts and opinions about the healthcare system with us.
